One of the primary attractions of Haulover Park in Miami is Haulover Marina and its fishing charters. Within easy reach from most South Florida locations and just minutes to inshore and offshore fishing, it’s one of the most popular fishing destinations in the Miami area.
It’s a hop, skip, and a jump from Miami locations like South Beach and downtown Miami, and it’s even an easy drive from Hollywood FL, and Fort Lauderdale.
The Park itself is 99 acres of waterfront property stretching from Bal Harbour to the south and Sunny Isles to the north. It’s the largest remaining stretch of undeveloped beachfront in Miami-Dade County. Sitting scenically between the Intercoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, the view alone is enough to attract attention.
There’s plenty for everybody in the family to do at Haulover Park, even those who are not up for a fishing charter. From biking to kiting, to swimming or strolling the beach and more, families and children will love a day of fun and festivities at Haulover Park.
Haulover Beach is a beautiful mile and a half long beach with white sand, a picnic area, and sand dunes, and it’s popular among surfers and kiteboarders. Note: the northern 0.4-mile shoreline is a (world famous) clothing optional beach.
